Blanchardstown Traveller Community Employment Programme

Purpose:
To engage participants in a programme of work experience, training and education to enable them to make the transition towards gainful employment.

Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Community Employment Programme is to enhance the capacity and development of local Travellers as well as increasing their participation and contribution to the positive profile of Travellers in the wider community.

Aims & Objectives:
The Project aims to support participant’s progression into mainstream training, education and employment. Our objectives are to:
• Increase skills development
• Develop and maintain individual learning
• Provide opportunities for work experience
• Enhance Traveller participation in B.T.D.G. and the wider community
• Support Traveller entry to training, education and employment
