The womens training programme is a FAS Funded Local Training Initative programme.

the LTI Programme is based in the BTDG and is designed to meet the specific needs of Traveller women.

 

the programme runs from year to year and the amount of time a particpant stays on the programme depends on their progress and level of literacy.

 

Courses we run:

 

Computer Literacy Level 3

Graphic Communications Level 3

Hair Dressing Theory and Practice Level 5

Personal and Interpersonal Skills Level 4

Early Childhood Education Level 5

 

Particpants can also complete their Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate through our programme.

 

The LTI Particpants take part in a Sports Programme every week consisting of various different sports depending on interest, the most recent being Basketball. This sports programme is Funded by Fingal County Council.
